The Midterm presentation

You will present the stae of your research to the Thesis Assessment Board (TAB), the same people that assessed your ERP. The midterm is divided into a 10 min presentation, then max. 15 min Q&A, followed by a 5 min TAB discussion.

Your presentation should be centered around your progress: Do not re-iterate your ERP, focus on the parts of the research that have been done, plans for the remaining parts, problems encountered, and changes made since the ERP. The contents of the presentation should be set in consultation with your supervisor(s).

The assessment is a formative feedback (no grades). The TAB compiles a description of your progress in a form (see below). This will be made available to you and the contents should be discussed with your supervisor. Only in case the TAB estimates there is a serious risk of failure, you will receive a written warning from the Examination Board.
