Visualising GDI data with Google Earth

On this page you'll find information about a test done to see how to best visualise large-volume distributed data (as found typically in a GeoData Infrastructure) using the Google Earth virtual globe software. We tested this with the Open Street Map data set for the Netherlands, a dataset containing road data for navigational purposes as well additional topographic data.
