What you see here is an IKEA isochrone map. It displays the areas which can reach an IKEA store within 30 (red), 20 (yellow) and 10 (blue) minutes time by car. The time on the upper right displays what hour you are currently viewing.
On the left hand side you can control the time. Press play to see how the reachability of IKEA stores change due to traffic. You can also manually drag the slider to see the changes.
You can zoom in to one specific IKEA store by clicking on the name in the menu on the left. For the specific stores we also calculated the number of inhabitants and visitors that are within 30 minutes of the selected IKEA store using aggregated GSM data. The number of people also changes through time. You can see these numbers on the lower right on the screen.
Please keep in mind that the number of people displayed are the ones on 13-09-2016 that can reach the specific selected IKEA store within 30 minutes in a traffic situation on an average tuesday. The traffic data used does not represent one single day but is the result of 3-yearly observations. In theory it is possible that the total number of people can reach another IKEA store in less time.
